CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

 

Position Description – Administrative Assistant

 

This person is key member of our team and is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of the day-to-day operations of the office, regarding our Customer Service (aka Customer Happiness). This person is also aware of many private, possibly Human Resource discussions and maintains the highest level of confidentiality. With the scope of work in this position, they are exposed to many facets of the company and works with many other divisions and leaders.

 

There are time-sensitive tasks that must be performed, and this person sets their daily plans and priorities according to that workload. They are the first impression for any callers, and it’s critical that this person is upbeat, friendly, and helpful. The Admin Assistant should be highly organized and able to multitask with ease. Main tasks include the following and WE WILL TRAIN:

 

  • Customer/Guest Service – with a Positive Attitude
    • Answer and redirect phone calls
    • Order entry
    • Order tracking
    • Handling guest problems/order problems
    • Handle info emails from guests
    • Handle chats (TIDIO) from guests
    • Handling chats from teammates
    • Proficiency with NetSuite & Microsoft Office
  • Shipping Issues
    • Handling UPS claims
    • Managing UPS Corrections
    • Assisting with Guest returns/credits
  • Identifies Issues that require Collaboration and brings attention to it
    • Recognizes repetitive guest issues that could signal a problem
  • Accounts Payable
    • Approve and enter invoices for payment
  • Maintain Office Supply Inventory
    • Order as needed from Quill
  • Willing teammate to help where labor is needed in the company

 

Cook & Kitchen Prep Teammate

This teammate will be a part of our Café & Retail team. In this role you would primarily be doing cooking and kitchen prep work, as well as coffee drink making.

To succeed at this role you will need:

  • Have a positive attitude!
  • Solid customer service skills
  • A passion for cooking and baking
  • Have the stamina to be on your feet most of the day in a hospitality environment
  • Have the desire to make Door County Coffee a career - not just a job!
  • Ability to work an 8 hour shift primarily from 7am-3:30pm- which does include weekends - no nights (we close at 4pm)

This position is based at our Café and Roasting facility in Carlsville, WI - just north of Sturgeon Bay on Hwy 42. It is a full-time, year-round position.

We are excited to announce that we have a position available at Door County Coffee for the right person. Great wages and benefits and there are NO NIGHTS! This teammate will be a part of our Cafe & Retail team. In this role you COULD be a barista, work in our retail shop, or support our kitchen team as wait staff.

To succeed at this role you need:

• A positive attitude!

• Solid customer service skills

• Have the stamina to be on your feet most of the day in a hospitality environment

• Have the desire to make Door County Coffee a career - not just a job!

• Ability to work an 8-hour shift – which does include weekends – no nights
