Maybe I got a bad batch?
I thought I would like this, as I really enjoy mint in my tea and I like flavored coffees. When I tasted it, I could not finish it... it tasted as if someone took a bottle of peppermint oil and dumped it all in my cup. The mint flavor is so overwhelming, I don't dare try it again. We bought another flavor (cinnamon hazelnut) and I fell in love with it!! Sorry for the negatives, but the peppermint is truely awful, but I will still come back to your site to check for new flavors, and order the flavors I really like. Despite this flavor flop, I'm glad I found your brand, and will be happy to buy the cinnamon hazelnut.

My absolute favorite Door County Coffee
Candy Cane is my favorite as you could see by my past orders. However I have never had a bad cup of Door County Coffee in my life. Since moving to Texas to be near my family, ordering coffee has become our norm. My family members are also huge fans and usually order their own. Coming here from Green Bay was an adjustment. We could no longer pick up our Door County Coffee when we went to the store or take a run up to Door County. We even have friends lined up for shipping our favorites - lol. Can't find good flavored here. SO thank you for the shipping options!!!!
All of your coffee is wonderful!!!

I have two very favorite Door County Coffees:
Candy Cane and Blueberry Cobbler. This Christmas we ordered several bags of ground Candy Cane coffee. I make it as a “pour over” style. It is so smooth! We did a taste comparison of coffee methods with the ground coffee. We made a cup of Candy Cane in the personal “K” cup for our Kuerig, and then we made a pour over also with the Candy Cane flavor. What an interesting result! The K cup barely had a hint of peppermint flavor while the pour over was bursting with the fresh candy cane flavor. This goes to show that your method of brewing makes a huge difference. For a smooth flavorful coffee, use the pour over method. The mint flavor is amazing! Enjoy!!!!
