I must say customer service has been great; I would recommend always buying ground coffee if you get the espresso. I had it when visiting Milwaukee and then when I had it shipped, chose the whole bean instead. That set off a cascade of grinder problems. The beans are so, so oily that they gummed up 3 grinders. I got quick and thoughtful response to my comments but in the end, that's the way the espresso beans are presented. I do appreciate the attempts to assist me with this problem but have had to go back to Collectivo beans that are very flavorful but not oily. I have no problem with any bean grinders having made the switch back. So A+ for flavor but just way too oily.

Having it Shipped Cross Country
Visiting family in Wisconsin and went to the store near my daughter's looking for Collectivo Espresso. When I lived in Milwaukee, this was the only kind of bean I would use and when I moved to California, I had it shipped here. I could not find espresso anything close to that good. I've been happy with that and still am, however when I couldn't find it I tried Door County Coffee, espresso. It had a creaminess and smoothness about it that I loved. It gave me that little nudge I need every morning and had a more layered taste which seemed to make it taste richer, almost thicker even though of course, it wasn't. Now I'm back in CA about to order five pounds to have shipped. Maybe this will help me win my next order!!! One can hope. Anyway, I still love you Collectivo but you've moved from my primary choice to my secondary. Nicely done, Door County. The bar is set high over there in Wisconsin! Please open a store in LA so I can cut down on my shipping costs?!
