A Door County Night Before Christmas Children’s Book
A Door County twist on a traditional Christmas story written by Carol Davis & illustrated by Jan Rasmussen.
Join Santa as he explores some of the magical places of Door County, like the Cana Lighthouse, Hill 17, cherry trees, car ferry, Belgium Pies, Eagle Tower, the old bridge and more. Of course Santa loves Door County!
Besides having a bird’s eye view of Cana Lighthouse, Eagle Tower, the Old Bridge and the John Purves, Santa dreams of things he does in Door County while not quite so busy – like eating Belgian Pies and going ice fishing. He does take a quick break and ride the car ferry to Washington Island and he does enjoy some great cheese curds from some local children who thoughtfully put out the cheese curds (and some cookies) for Santa before going to bed that night.
We hear Santa leaving Door County after he delivers his presents saying, “Merry Christmas to All the world around!!”
