Red Velvet Frappe

“Your red velvet coffee really intrigued me, so I ordered some. And, boy it sure is delicious. I love frozen coffee drinks so I decided to try making a little twist by adding red velvet coffee and chocolate ice cream. The results are delicious! Hope you like it as much as I do!”

This is a user-submitted recipe. It was also tested in the kitchen of the Door County Coffee Café.
Ingredients:

Featured ingredient: Red Velvet Mocha Coffee 10 oz. Bag Ground

  • 1/2 C. prepared Door County Red Velvet Coffee (cooled)
  • 1/4 C. milk
  • 3/4 C. chocolate ice cream
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 2 tsp. red food coloring
  • 1 1/2 C. crushed ice
  • Whipped topping

Instructions:

  1. Blend together coffee, milk, ice cream, sugar, food coloring and crushed ice.
  2. Pour into your favorite glass.
  3. Dollop with whipped topping.
