Apple Coffee Cake with Caramel Sauce

By: Diane - Rochester, MN - Recipe Contest 2015

I have loved apple cakes since I was a little girl when my grandma made them. The aroma of the apples and spices brings back wonderful memories! The coffee in the cake and sauce gives the recipe a little "grown-up" flair to the dessert. If you eat this while sipping a cup of fresh brewed Door County coffee, you'll have a real treat!

This is a user-submitted recipe. It was not made in the kitchens of the Door County Coffee Cafe.
