Door County Coffee Kahlua Float

"A fun variation of a root beer float but with coffee and a little liquor."

This is a Door County Coffee Fan recipe. It was not made in the kitchens of the Door County Coffee Cafe.

Featured ingredient: Irish Cream Coffee 10 oz. Bag Ground

  • 1 cup hot fresh brewed strong Irish Cream Door County Coffee
  • 2 Tbsp. Kahlua liqueur
  • 1 scoop coffee ice cream


  1. Pour coffee into large mug
  2. Stir in Kahlua to taste.
  3. Add scoop of ice cream.
  4. Serve immediately.

Variation: Door county mocha mint coffee, with 1 to 2 Tbsp peppermint schnapps and a scoop of chocolate ice cream.
